Cville Solar Project is comprised of an interdisciplinary cohort of University of Virginia students in Charlottesville, Virginia. The organization was founded by University student Erik Toor in 2017. Since its inception, Cville Solar has strived to raise awareness of the importance of renewable energy and its practical implementation around the University community. The most notable event we support is UVA's annual Lighting of the Lawn, where solar panels power the lights that the community gathers to watch.
